  How will I know it is working?

At the time a "quarantined" message has been received, you will get an email from the Barracuda Spam Firewall that looks like this:

Welcom to the Barracuda Spam Firewall. This message contains the information you will need to access your Spam Quarantine and Preferences.

Your account has been set to the following username and password:

Username: youremail@kdsi.net Password: youremailpassword

Once you are logged in you should see several messages that have already been "Quarantined"

You will also see several other options that allow you to Deliver, Whitelist or Delete messages. Plus, there is a Preferences link at the top that allows you to Whitelist/Blacklist email, change your password and change the preferences of you spam filter, etc.
