  Barracuda Spam Firewall

A new firewall appliance from Barracuda Networks has recently been added to the KDSI network.  Barracuda uses a combination of real-time black hole lists, rules-based filtering, a learning mechanism called "Bayesian" filter as well as intent based rules (anti-phishing) to filter Spam.

It does an excellent job of filtering Spam and the number of blocked messages are truly amazing.

The Barracuda solution has replaced BRUNO and as of 10/24/06, this service is FREE and, by default, on for ALL of our customers.

NOTE: KDSI is not responsible for keeping copies of your messages, filtered or not. We use automated processes to filter your e-mail and automated processes to empty your e-mail box. We do not back up mail under any circumstances. Once e-mail is deleted from our servers, it cannot be recovered.

KDSI is also not responsible for messages filtered by Barracuda that should not have been filtered. This is why it is important that you check your filtered mail.
